Nancy's Block Cabernet Franc 2015

Winemaker’s Note

This special block of Cabernet Franc is dedicated to Norma-Jane’s late sister Nancy. Our Nancy’s Block Cabernet Franc was hand picked and sorted before being fermented with the inclusion of 35% whole clusters of Cabernet Franc to bring about a floral and lightness to this wine. Barrel aging took place in 225L French Oak Barriques about 25% of which were new.

Tasting Note

The 2014 Nancy’s Block Cabernet Franc is a pale ruby colour. Enjoy aromas of purple flowers, cranberry and forest floor. On the palate this wine is light on its feet, finessed with a silk like texture.

Food Pairing

This wine pairs beautifully with pink fleshed fish, salmon or trout, on a cedar plank.
