FAQ

1. Can I bring my dog to the event?
Dogs are welcome if they are on a leash, however we do want to make sure everyone is aware of the high volume of people that come on property that evening as well as the noise from the fireworks. Please bring your own bowl and water.

2. Can I bring my own food and drink to the event?
No, outside food and drink is not permitted. Ravine hardwood smoked BBQ style food and sausage on a bun will be available for purchase along with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The restaurant will be open as well, serving Four Mile Pizza. We are accepting walk-ins only.

3. Will there be furniture available for seating?
Seating is only available in the wine club member lounge and those dining in the restaurant. For all other guests, please feel free to bring folding chairs, blankets, etc to make yourself comfortable on the property.

4. Is there parking available?
We offer complimentary parking on-site but please note that we are anticipating over 1000 guests and parking may be limited. Additional parking is available at St. Davids Public School, St. Davids Lions Club or street parking throughout the village.

5. Will there be entertainment?
We will have live music from 5:00pm onwards until the fireworks show at approximately 10:00pm.

6. Will the retail store be open for wine tastings and purchases throughout the evening?
The retail store will be open until 6pm. No alcohol purchased from the retail store is allowed to be brought into the event.

7. What if it rains?
In the event of heavy rain or thunderstorms, the fireworks will be cancelled. Usually, this is a late decision made by the fireworks technician if deemed unsafe.

8. Is this a free event?
We kindly ask for a nonperishable food or monetary donation to Gillians Place and/or a monetary donation to the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund.
