Ravine Rosé 2022

Our Gamay Noir block in the Four Mile Creek appellation produced really well in 2022. This block has great air-flow and rich alluvial soils and sand which produce incredible fruit. The weather of 2022 was lean but favourable and provided the right heat units needed to develop ripe flavours, along with cool autumn nights that preserved the freshness and acidity. With double berry sorting, only the ripest berries made it through. 95% of this wine was then fermented in stainless steel and a small percentage was fermented in four French oak barrels. 

On the nose we get a bright strawberry sorbet, with candy apple, candied lemon and a hint of hibiscus. The weight and mouthfeel starts off oily and soft but transforms mid palate to a quenching dry finish. The flavours are incredible with intense strawberry, cotton candy and ambrosia apple.
