Winemaker’s Note
I love this Cabernet Franc because it is a blend of fruit sourced from not only our estate, but also from some of the nicest vineyards in Niagara on the Lake.  This is probably one of my favourite reds to work with in Niagara and what is so special about this varietal is not only its versatility in the cellar but also that when you put the focus in the vineyards, you can achieve ripeness and strength on the palate in terms of firmness and acidity.

Tasting Note
"Immediately this wine screams out raspberry and chocolate ganache. On the palate one will taste red fruit (raspberries, red currant), chocolate, spice (clove, anise, savoury sage).  There is an enjoyable amount of elegant firm tannins that coat your palate and are accompanied with a soft touch of acidity.  It’s a fabulous food wine.  I love how it starts off fruity and soft and finishes with strength and persistence." - Winemaker, Lydia Tomek
