Final Words

Dictated by the cooler 2008 vintage, our winemaking team elected to take the route of elegance rather than power. The wine does, however, show real class and will surprise many with its length, and some very serious Bordeaux-like nuances. An understated wine with a lot of character, it will match nicely with a broad spectrum of foods and occasions.

Reviews

“One of the better Bordeaux-style reds of this difficult vintage sports a fragrant, complex nose of sweet ripe raspberry, mocha, pinecone earthiness and lead pencil minerality. It’s medium weight, refined and quite elegant with some 2008 acid tartness. Tannin is very fine; length is excellent. Best 2011-2015.”
