Final Words

This wine was constructed with drinkability in mind. Perfect for barbeques, pizza, or even leisurely sipping. It’s the ‘house wine’ of Ravine Vineyard.
The 2008 is earthy, dried herbs, slight note of mint leaves, lots of raspberry, dark plums, and barrel spices with a stronger tannic structure than the 2007. It is definitely a more complex wine with a longer life ahead of it.
The name of the blend pays homage to the roots of the town of St. Davids that was a hot bed of activity during the War of 1812.
