The swallows may return to Capistrano, but they also love Ravine. Dozens of swallows return every year to our barn, almost to the day, to dine on insects in our fields and vineyard. With two broods, their numbers are well over a hundred by the end of summer. Their pest control presence is only one of the reasons we can farm 100 percent organically. Ravine Vineyard is certified organic from both the Canadian and US Governments, so come and watch the swallows darting for their supper from the Lowrey Packing Shed porch where you’ll also enjoy a spectacular view of the sprawling vineyards, and maybe have dinner yourself by trying out some of the ever-changing menu items prepared by our extremely talented culinary team!
